How to Setup Emails in Outlook and iOS?

The Email Setup in Outlook is processed either automatically or manually depending upon the server settings. Here is an easy step by step instruction on how you can set up your email account.

Step 1: Open your Microsoft Outlook on your device.

Step 2: Enter your previous email address and then your password to set up an email in Outlook or click on the “Advanced Options” to manually set up your email account.

Step 3: When adding manually, you have to first choose the account type from “IMAP” or “POP3”. Then proceed to add credentials such as User Information, Server Settings, and Logon Information.

Step 4: Next, check for the Outgoing Mail Server tab in the “More Settings” section. Check the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

Step 5: After this, go to the Advanced tab and insert data for incoming and outgoing mail servers and then click Ok.

You can check whether the mail settings are properly set up by visiting the Password & Account sections in the Settings menu and clicking on the Email ID.
